In a strategic move that underscores his market expertise, Kirkland was able to source and negotiate deal terms for 201 Colony Way before the property officially went on the market, providing a competitive advantage for Little Tokyo. During due diligence, NAI UCR Properties also assisted in securing a long-term renewal with Schlotzsky’s, one of the neighboring tenants, strengthening the property’s long-term value and stability.
The new Little Tokyo location, set in the bustling Colony Crossing development alongside Schlotzsky’s, Kroger, Home Depot, and a variety of dining options, is positioned to capture significant traffic and serve Madison’s growing community. Steven Huang, owner of Little Tokyo, anticipates opening this elevated dining experience in early 2025 following comprehensive renovations. The Madison location is set to feature a refined, high-end concept unique from the other Little Tokyo branches, catering to the area’s upscale demographic.
